Displays and Exhibits

Digital advertising is great, but it’s not the only way to connect with your audience.

In-person interactions, such as training materials, event marketing, and special events, can create a unique customer experience. You can build a powerful relationship by connecting the digital world to the real one.

After all, adding a personal touch can turn a good experience into a great one.

During my time at the Disneyland Resort, I created guides to go with the historical exhibits being hosted in the Main Street Opera House. I also created a short tour of the Main Street Cinema, which showcases classic Mickey Mouse cartoons, to allow our team to better engage, interact, and inform our guests.

Due to the proprietary nature of these documents, a full transcript cannot be provided. I can, however, give you a small taste of each.

Tiki Realms Display Information Guide
A guide giving a short amount of information to employees to better inform them about a new display, allowing them in turn to better educate guests. Historical information about the history of the Tiki Room, the development of the show and audio-animatronic technology, and the people involved in its creation. Also discussed items on display in more detail than given in the plaques to allow our team to better inform interested guests.

The Main Street Cinema Tour
A short tour script to help our team guide small groups of guests through the Main Street Cinema at Disneyland. Using each of the six films as a jumping point, it contains information on the history of Walt Disney, animation, and Mickey Mouse. The tour can be tailored to the preferences of the tour guide and to the interests of the audience. For each film, a collection of bulleted information is given, allowing the guide to choose what facts work best for an individual tour, rather than sticking to a set and strict script.
